The Hollow Wall Anchor is designed to be used in thin materials such as wallboard, plaster, paneling, hollow block, etc. Prongs on the underside of the head of the anchor, grip the material being used, keeping the anchor from rotating while being set. As the screw is turned in, the anchor expands, securing itself to the back of the medium. Once set, the screw may be removed as often as necessary. For faster installation, a setting tool may be utilized. |
